How to Manage and Monitor Devices with Iperius One

To manage and monitor devices with Iperius One , access the dashboard and open the Devices section . From this page, you can check the online or offline status of your computers, system health, the latest backup, active modules, remote access, and license status.

By clicking on a device name, you can also view CPU, RAM, and disk performance, check antivirus and firewall protection, manage active processes, navigate the file system, view Windows events, and centrally install missing patches.

What do you need before you start?

To display a computer in the Devices section, the Iperius One Agent must be installed on the system to be managed.

Before proceeding, please check that:

  • the Agent has been installed correctly;
  • the device is associated with the correct account;
  • the computer is turned on and connected to the Internet;
  • the license has the necessary workstations and modules;
  • your user has access to the device or its group.

If you don’t already use Iperius Remote, the list may be empty when you log in for the first time. The computers appear after installing the Agent.

If you have an Iperius Remote license, you can also find the devices already present in the relevant Address Book in this section. To use the RMM functions of Iperius One, the Agent must still be installed on the relevant computers.

Filters are especially useful when you need to manage numerous devices belonging to different customers, locations, departments, or infrastructures.

How to read the list of devices

Each row in the list corresponds to a registered computer. The columns allow you to instantly check the status, configuration, and available features.

Device

The Device column displays the computer name and an icon that lets you check whether it is online or offline.

A summary indicator of the system’s health is also available next to the name.

The Organization column indicates the company or customer to which the computer is assigned.

This information is useful in multi-client environments and allows MSPs to quickly distinguish devices belonging to different organizations they manage.

Iperius One e Iperius Remote

The dedicated icons show whether Iperius One and Iperius Remote are installed and active on the device.

This way you can quickly understand which computers are available for RMM monitoring and which are also configured for remote access.

Salute

  • green: no significant problems were detected;
  • orange: there is a situation that requires attention;
  • red: There are more critical issues to check.

Tip: Use the health indicator to
quickly identify computers to check, then open their Overview
to analyze detailed information.

Last backup

The Last Backup column shows the name of the last operation performed and its date and time.

This information allows you to quickly check whether your devices are performing their scheduled backups regularly.

Groups

The Groups column indicates the logical groups to which the device belongs.

You can use groups to organize computers by customer, location, department, function, or criticality level.

Private and public IP

Iperius One displays both the private IP address of the device on the local network and its public IP.

This data can be useful for identifying the originating network and for carrying out verification or troubleshooting activities.

Depending on the license, modules may be listed as:

  • backup Microsoft 365;
  • RMM monitoring;
  • Hyper-V virtual machine backup;
  • backup di database SQL Server.

Favorite

This option is useful for highlighting servers, critical workstations, or computers that you need to service frequently.

Remote access

The Remote Access column indicates whether the computer is available for a remote desktop connection.

  • a gray icon may indicate that the device is turned off, that Iperius Remote or Iperius One are not installed, or that remote access is not enabled;
  • An orange icon indicates that the device is ready for remote connection.

Once your computer is available, you can open the column menu and quickly select the connection option.

IperiusONE License Status
